“Clothes Horse”, 18X24 Oil and Acrylic, 2009
was my first attempt at straying away from water color. I started painting this in 2008 and finished in 2009. I came up with the idea when looking through a magazine and the woman wearing this dress had a face like a horse, so I thought it would be a funny idea to paint.
My girlfriend Tess Cook just started a blog for her artwork. She’s a badass, and you should do yourself a favor, and take a look at some of her work.
That are complaining about the results of the election follow through with their own words, and actually leave the states. Maybe this Sunday Mitt Romney will go to sacrament, and think about all the lies, and half truths he told just to lose an election. I was kind of rooting for the underdog in a way. Mostly because I’m not looking forward to another four years of white people crying, pulling accusations out of thin air, and painting our president as a…what was it again? A radical Muslim terrorist spy? A liar? Hitler? I can’t remember I usually stop listening to someone when they start cloaking their racism with politics, but until then I’m sure that over the next four years the right will come up with some interesting theories about our president. Who knows maybe they’re clever enough to blame him for 9/11 or the cancellation of Seinfeld. Either way Barack won the electoral & popular vote, which means that as a nation we are a little more comfortable with a “socialist pig” running things.
